The 'Piece of Me' singer - who filmed 'Britney and Kevin: Chaotic' with her ex-husband Kevin Federline in 2005 - has reportedly ordered her entourage to carry professional video cameras with them at all times to capture her antics on film.

A source said: "Britney's bodyguards and other staff members have been told to carry video equipment with them wherever they go so they don't miss a thing. "Whether Britney is high or low, feeling happy or sad, the cameras are there catching it all.

Some of the footage is really explosive and it's going to be must-see TV. "Britney thinks a new reality show is just the thing she needs to help her kick start her career and prove to her fans she has put her recent troubles behind her."

Audrina: ‘I Don’t Blame Lo’ for Hills Feud

Audrina Patridge, who shares a home with her Hills costars Lauren Conrad and Lauren “Lo” Bosworth, may be the odd one out — but she’s not blaming her roommates.

The 23-year-old brunette admits to the L.A. Times that there was tension between herself and the two Laurens, but that the media and editing have blown the feud out of proportion.

“Things change and friendships do drift apart sometimes,” she says. “Lauren and I aren’t not friends, we’re just not as close as we used to be.”

But it’s not the fault of Bosworth, who doesn’t always come off on the show as a fan of Audrina.

“I don’t really blame Lo, she and Lauren have been friends for a long time,” says Patridge, who adds that the fight gets cleared up in the upcoming fourth season, and that she and Conrad still try to hang out once a week.

As for Audrina’s sometimes-passive appearance on the show, she says that’s due to the time constraints of the Hills editors.

“I don’t feel like they show me on The Hills sticking up for myself. They edit that out,” she says. “In real life, though, I’m bubbly and fun and talkative, and when you see me on the show I’m always sitting there and sad. But I’m fine with it because it’s not my show.”

But being on the MTV show, which returns Aug. 18 (10 p.m. ET on MTV), has helped her for her upcoming role the sequel to Into the Blue.

Mistakes That Were Found In The Dark Knight…See If You Can Spot Them!

We all know we want to go see The Dark Knight a million times at least. So while you watch it your million and first time look at this list I found of mistakes in the film…(I will not read one of them…I haven’t even seen it once yet!!!)(And for those people reading this on your phone…keep this list handy as a check list at the theatre…everyone will love you for it!)

Continuity: When Harvey Dent loses his face and is lying in the hospital bed, when he’s turned with the damaged side against the pillow, we can see the inside of the side of his mouth which should be damaged, but it’s fully intact. Then when he turns it’s suddenly burned away.
Continuity: On the prisoner’s ferry, supposedly just before midnight, the prisoner stands up to take the detonator from the guard. As he stands up, the clock shows it’s roughly 11:30/11:35. Then his body covers the clock and he moves forward. When you see the clock again, it shows it’s just before midnight.
Revealing: During the end of the car chase, when the Joker is out of his truck and Batman is on the Batpod coming towards him, you can see a store sign that reads “Chicago Supply”.
Continuity: When Bruce Wayne is talking to Alfred while having his arm stitched, in shots from the side he’s looking downwards, but in other shots he’s looking up towards Alfred.
Other: In the scene where Joker is goading the one guard until the guard can no longer control himself: each time the Joker is shown goading him, there is a large piece of glass on the window ledge behind the Joker. It is really obvious, and makes it easy to guess what is about to happen. This piece of glass is much thicker than any of the other shattered pieces of glass on the ledge.
Continuity: In the scene where Alfred is stitching up Bruce, Bruce says “I was meant to inspire people” and as he says “people” the shot changes and his lips aren’t moving but the audio track continues.
Factual error: After the tunnel ambush when they get air support again they show the view from the helicopter of a SWAT member with an M16 and an EOTech sight attached. If you look closely the red dot scope is mounted backwards on the weapon.
Continuity: In the car chase, as they exit onto lower 5th, the convoy has, in order, a police cruiser, 2 swat vans, then 2 cruisers. When the garbage truck pulls up next to the convoy, he takes out the second to last cruiser first (there is a car visible behind). It then spins out another cruiser in front of it before reaching the van with Dent in it, but there should have been no other cruiser between that one and the van
Continuity: Joker and Two-face are in the hospital; Harvey is about to flip the coin to decide if the Joker lives or dies. The camera angle switches back and forth between the Joker and Harvey. From one angle Harvey is wearing the monitor clamp on his middle finger with the grey wire, from the other angle it is gone. It disappears and re-appears every time the camera angle changes.
Continuity: When Two-Face has hold of Gordon’s kid and is flipping the coin to “decide” who gets to live, he flips and catches it in his left hand. Between flips, there’s a close-up of the kid’s face, and Two-Face is stroking the kid’s hair - with his left hand. No coin in sight.
Continuity: In the scene where the Joker is robbing the mob bank (in the first 3 minutes of the film), a Clown Thug is seen knocking down the security guard in the background. A few shots later, the same security guard is knocked down in the same manner before the Clown Thug is shot.
Continuity: When pointing the gun at himself, the Joker’s finger is on the hammer in one scene, and in the next, his finger is pointing straight up.
Continuity: The Joker’s hair length changes dramatically throughout the film. It is noticeably shorter in the police interrogation scene than in the rest of the film.
Continuity: In the scene where Batman is interrogating the Joker, Batman hits his right hand, but in the next shot the Joker is examining his left hand.
Continuity: During the Batman/Joker interrogation scene, the amount of make up on Joker’s face changes between shots. This is particularly noticeable on his chin and forehead, and is not consistent with reasonable rub off from the altercation.
Continuity: In the scene where Batman is interrogating the Joker at the police station, Batman pins the Joker up against the wall with his arm at the Joker’s neck effectively holding him in place. There are two different camera angles used back and forth - in camera angle one the joker is clenching Batman’s arm from underneath, while in the other shot the Joker’s arm is draped over the top of Batman’s arm.
Continuity: When Bruce first walks off onto his balcony during the party, he completely empties his glass over the edge. When Rachel comes out to speak with him, his glass still has a small amount of champagne left in it.
Continuity: When Batman is about to glide into Lau’s building they show him standing on the ledge about two meters from the corner, ready to make his jump. Cut camera angle to an overhead shot and he is standing on the corner of the building when he makes his jump.
Continuity: In the scene in the warehouse where Harvey Dent was held hostage, when Batman gets him outside and the building explodes, Dent’s face and some of his left side catches on fire. You can see him bring his hands to his face to try and put out the fire while he’s lying on the ground. Yet in the hospital scene a bit later, his hand(s) are completely wound free.
Other: Once inside Lau’s building, Lau’s bodyguards fire several shots at Batman while he is fighting. The bullets shatter the glass partitions inside the office but the exterior windows of the building, directly in the line of fire and only a few feet further than the partitions, are all entirely undamaged.
Factual error: The way Two-Face’s face moves is impossible given the extent of his injuries. His lips, cheeks, and eyes all move in such a way that would require muscles which are missing.

The cat, which was found waddling around Voorhees, N.J, without a collar, is being cared for at the Camden County animal shelter in Blackwood, N.J. It's unknown whether this King Kong of kitties packed on the pounds by dining a la cat and mouse on the Garden State's public thoroughfares or simply left home in search of better grub.

Whatever the case, the cat needs a home and is probably hungry.

In a shameless publicity grab (and yes, we bit), LifeStyles Condoms has offered the 15-year-old Hannah Montana star $1 million to become the newest purveyor of prophylactics and to become the company spokes~~woman~~girl.

While Cyrus has vowed to save herself for marriage, the company says the young star should never say never.

Pointing to a certain fellow tween queen (cough, Jamie Lynn Spears, cough), LifeStyles claims that, should Cyrus choose to get into bed with them, so to speak, she may enjoy a less dysfunctional future.

"Pop culture proves that teens are more ready than ever to discuss the subject of sex," says the company's VP of marketing, Carol Carrozza. "We believe that Miley is both influential and relatable to this afflicted set—and is the obvious choice to get the message of safe sex out to teens across America."

Team Cyrus, however, doesn't seem so smitten with the proposal. "We never received an offer, nor would she consider the offer," her rep tells E! News.

NICKY MACKENZIE WAS WORKING HARD AT HER DEGREE – BUT THE DRUGS SHE USED TO HELP HER CONCENTRATE LED HER INTO THE DARK WORLD OF PROSTITUTION

As she peeled off her clothes in front of the man on the bed, Nicky Mackenzie felt sick to her stomach.

She was about to have sex with a stranger for £200 in order to fund her prescription drug habit.

“I’d taken Valium before I got to his house to block out what I was doing,” she says.

“I was petrified, so I just tried to keep my mind focused on the money.”

Waking up in her own bed the next morning, Nicky was faced with a stark reminder of just how low she had sunk.

“There was a photo on my bedside table of me as a child with my family,” she says.

“I looked so innocent, and I asked myself: ‘How have I come to this?’”

But Nicky’s self-loathing didn’t stop her having sex with two more men she met through an internet escort agency – raising a total of £800 for a secret drug habit which had left her thousands of pounds in debt.

Nicky, now 22, had first dabbled in drugs when she was studying for her A levels.

A break-up with a boyfriend left her struggling to concentrate so, in desperation, she trawled the internet for drugs to help her focus.

“I ordered a bottle of Ephedrine, a US diet pill with a stimulant effect, which is prescription-only in the UK but available online,” she explains.

“It gave me the energy to stay up all night studying, and I achieved three A grades.”

Nicky won a place at Sheffield University to study English Literature and decided to start afresh without relying on drugs.

“For the first six weeks I bonded with a group of girls and loved life,” says Nicky.

“We went out drinking and clubbing, and I barely slept I was so busy socialising.

"But it was a shock going from small school classes to huge lectures and I slowly began to feel overwhelmed.

“Soon, rather than going out, I stayed in my room alone chain-smoking, ignoring my work and my friends.

"I also began self-harming, taking a razor blade to my arms.”

Midway through her first year, Nicky became so low she tried to kill herself by wrapping cassette tape around her neck until she passed out.

She woke a few hours later, so distraught at how depressed she’d become that she decided to take stimulants again, believing they would stop her feeling suicidal, and help her get back on track with her studies.

She met a dealer through someone she knew and started snorting Ritalin, an amphetamine-like stimulant given to people with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), which is believed to improve memory and brain function.

“I could work all night, my mind never wandered and I never felt tired,” says Nicky.

But she continued suffering bouts of depression and in 2005 – when she was 19 – she went to see her doctor who diagnosed bipolar disorder, characterised by cycles of extreme highs and lows.

She was prescribed antidepressants, but carried on taking illicit prescription drugs and became increasingly withdrawn from her family, friends and her new boyfriend, a fellow student.

They were unaware of her drug abuse but had started to become concerned by her behaviour.

By her third year, Nicky was using Ritalin every morning to get up and Valium to calm down at night.

She was also snorting speed and taking antidepressants, spending £190 a week from her student loan on drugs.

“I was weak, had a constant headache, and started getting dizzy.

"But I felt I needed this cocktail of drugs to focus and to stabilise my moods,” she says.

“I’d applied to do a Masters in English and needed a 2:1. I felt I wouldn’t get it without the drugs.”

Nicky got the degree she needed, but faced with a £2,000 debt and another year of studying, she began to panic about money.

Bar work just didn’t pay enough, so Nicky started researching quick ways to make cash online.

She found a website for an escort agency and, despite still being with her boyfriend, she posted an advert saying she was available for £200 an hour.

“I received lots of replies,” she says.

“One man only lived five minutes away and I thought: ‘Why not?’ It sounded like easy money.

“I had sex with three men. On each occasion I was high on Valium and felt like an actress playing a part.

"I hated every minute and afterwards I’d go home and cry, feeling disgusted with myself.

"I was full of self-loathing. I tried to avoid my boyfriend – I couldn’t look him in the eye.”

Nicky’s wake-up call came in September 2007 when she was accepted on to a Masters degree course, also at Sheffield University.

“I’d always felt worthless, that I’d never get anywhere in life.

"But when I heard I’d got a place, I suddenly realised I had a good brain and I really could make a contribution to society,” she explains.

“It made me take a long hard look at myself, and I finally understood I was worth more than selling my body to strangers.”

Nicky came clean to her boyfriend of 18 months, fully expecting him to end their relationship.

Instead he stood by her.

“He wasn’t even angry, just worried about me. He said he hadn’t realised how desperately low I was,” she says.

Nicky called her parents too.

“I cried when I told Mum, but she was understanding and didn’t make me feel ashamed,” she says.

Horrified his daughter had gone to such lengths to obtain money, her father, an accountant, immediately paid off her debts.

Eight months into her Masters degree, Nicky, who hopes to be an English teacher, is now putting the past behind her.

She went cold turkey to come off the drugs, and says she no longer craves them.

“I couldn’t have done it without the love and support of my boyfriend and family,” she says.

“I regret what happened, but I feel that I’ve been given a second chance and I want to make a success of the rest of my life.”

Dr Hilary says: “The drugs Nicky took all have potentially dangerous side effects. Being prone to dramatic mood swings because of her bipolar disorder would have made Nicky much more vulnerable to emotional highs and lows. For these reasons, these drugs are only available under strict supervision on the NHS – which is why obtaining them online from overseas is fraught with danger.”

German nudists complain of Polish peepers

Patrons of a German nude beach on the Polish border say beachgoers on the other side of the border come to stare at the exposed skin.

Ines Muller, a German naturist, said Poles come fully clothed to the beach on their side of the border and stare at the nude swimmers and sunbathers, The Sun reported Monday.

"You feel like an ape in the zoo. The Poles come with their binoculars, stare and swear," Muller said.

Beach patrons said there used to be a fence separating the German and Polish beaches, but it was torn down as part of a 2007 agreement between the countries.

"It's a nudist beach. It's terrible that the Poles come over dressed and stare," said German Elke Bernholz.

Some Poles said the proximity of the two beaches annoys them as much as it does the Germans.

Isabel Lucas may have earned herself a slave for life on the Transformers 2 set.

Sources tell E! News that it was Shia LaBeouf's Australian costar who was riding in the actor's truck when he had his early morning DUI crash on Sunday.

Authorities said yesterday that neither LaBeouf's then-unidentified female passenger nor the driver of the car he hit was seriously hurt. All three involved were taken to the hospital, where the women were treated for minor injuries and later released.

Lucas, 23, who lately has been spotted on the arm of Entourage star Adrian Grenier, was already back on the set of the Michael Bay-directed Transformers 2 today, a rep for Paramount Pictures told E! News.

A rep for Lucas couldn't immediately be reached for comment.

LaBeouf, 22, underwent surgery Sunday morning at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for extensive injuries to his left hand. He's expected to be out of commission for about a month, after which he'll continue shooting, according to his rep.

The Disturbia star, who police determined to be intoxicated at the scene, was also arrested and booked at the hospital for driving under the influence—a misdemeanor—and given an August court date.

The couple - who welcomed Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline into the world on July 12 - were reportedly so desperate to add to their ever-expanding brood they turned to IVF infertility treatment in a bid to conceive.

A source close to the couple told Us Weekly magazine: "They conceived through in vitro fertilisation. They both desperately wanted more babies soon."

Angelina, 33, only had a one per cent chance of conceiving fraternal twins naturally, but a 25 per cent chance by recipients of the treatment.

The Wanted actress was also keen to have the procedure - which can cost up to $12,000 a time - because she didn't want to have any problems conceiving.

The source added: "She wouldn't have to deal with the stress of trying to get pregnant. They were impatient."

In vitro fertilisation is a procedure where the egg cells are fertilised by sperm outside the woman's womb. The fertilised egg, called a zygote, is then transferred to the patient's uterus.

Angelina and Brad also have three adopted children, Maddox, six, four-year-old Pax, Zahara, three, and two-year-old biological daughter Shiloh.

A modern-day love story of a man spotting the girl of his dreams across a New York subway train and tracking her down over the Internet has failed to see a fairytale ending.

For Web designer Patrick Moberg, then 21, from Brooklyn, it was love at first sight when he spotted a woman on a Manhattan train last November. But he lost her in the crowd so he set up a website with a sketch to find her.

Unbelieveably, in a city of 8 million people, it only took Moberg 48 hours to track down the woman, with his phone ringing non-stop and e-mail box overflowing as usually cynical New Yorkers took sympathy on the subway Romeo and joined his hunt.

The mysterious brunette was named as Camille Hayton, from Melbourne, Australia, who was working as an intern at the magazine BlackBook and also lived in Brooklyn. One of her friends spotted the sketched picture on the website and recognized her.

But after finding each other, appearing on TV and getting international press, the couple took their romance out of the public eye, with Moberg closing down the website and with both refusing to making any more comments - until now.

Hayton told Australian newspaper The Sunday Telegraph that she dated Moberg for about two months but it just did not work out.

Hayton said she is still recognized about three times a week on the streets of Manhattan as "that girl"' and the question is always the same: "So what happened?"

Hayton said that she is enjoying single life in New York, keeping busy with acting classes, working in two vintage clothing stores and as a waitress.

Moberg, however, was still refusing to comment on the relationship.

Everyday superheroes turn weary as Comic-Con ends

They came, they bought, they stood in long lines and as the sprawling comic book convention Comic-Con drew to a close on Sunday, capes dragged, makeup ran, and thousands of previously chipper superheroes looked a little ragged.

Over the past four days, the San Diego convention center has been a mecca for 125,000 fans who came from around the world -- many dressed as their favorite superheroes -- in search of all manner of comics-related books, movies, games, toys, information and free products.

They packed screenings of movies with names like "Hamlet 2" and saw promotional trailers for other titles such as "The Spirit." They stood in lines that snaked around the building -- sometimes for hours -- to glimpse movie stars including Kiefer Sutherland, Keanu Reeves and Carmen Electra.

By many accounts, sales of toys, video games, T-shirts and other memorabilia were brisk, though less so than in recent years due to the current economic downturn, vendors said.

Daryl Graham, 37, an animation student from San Diego, said he found the latest super power action figures in just the right sizes to add to a collection he has been building since junior high school.

"As a collector, you want all your action figures to be even when you display them. You don't want your Batman an inch taller than your Spider-Man," Graham said.

But others expressed disappointment with what they see as the increasing commercialism of Comic-Con. They say the convention, devoted to celebrating comic book art, has been co-opted in recent years by large companies and Hollywood studios generating buzz for new movies and related products.

This year, scores of films were promoted ranging in genre from sci-fi and horror to comedy. Screenings and promotional trailers were shown, free items were handed out, and fans were drawn into scores of special exhibits.

"I only come for the comics and I think what has happened here is sad," said Robert Farrell, who has attended Comic-Con since 1975. He noted most traditional comics dealers appeared to be relegated to the edges of the cavernous exhibit hall. "I won't be coming back next year," he said.

Dale Roberts of Kentucky, who has sold vintage comic books at Comic-Con for the last 12 years, said traditional comic book fans and vendors "are feeling marginalized."

"Comic-Con will tell you that what we have is a perception problem and that comics have not been diminished in any way, they have just changed form," said a third vendor, Chuck Rozanski. He has been coming to Comic-Con since 1973 and says he has sold more than $100 million in comic books.

"We built this house and suddenly we're finding our furniture on the lawn. We let these rich relatives in and suddenly we're not good enough to live here anymore," he said.

A spokeswoman for Comic-Con was not immediately available to comment.

"Dark Knight"takes in $300 mln in 10 days, shattering record

"The Dark Knight" topped the box office for a second weekend in a row in ticket sales at U.S. and Canadian theaters, becoming the first film to surpass 300 million U.S. dollars in 10 days, media reported Monday.

The sequel to "Batman Begins" took in 75.6 million dollars this weekend, giving it 314.2 million dollars since its July 18 debut.

That surpasses the record set in 2006 by "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest," which took 16 days to make 300 million dollars.

"The Dark Knight," starring the late Heath Ledger as the Joker, set five box-office records last week, including best opening-weekend sales with 158.4 million dollars and best single-day with 66.4 million dollars.

Dan Fellman, Warner Bros. head of distribution, expects that the epic Batman saga could reach 400 million dollars in about 18 days, which would beat the record "Shrek 2" set in 2004 when it made that much money in 43 days.

"What can you say? We've been getting a lot of repeat business coming in," Fellman said. "Our audience is expanding, like you would expect with terrific word-of-mouth and strong reviews. Our audience is getting a little bit older, that's the good news. We're finding the younger demographic, male and female, coming back."

Coming in second place was "Step Brothers," which had a strong opening of its own with 30 million dollars.

Will Smith's superhero flick "Hancock," placed third with 8.2 million dollars.

The weekend's other big release "The X-Files: I Want to Believe," came in the fourth place with an estimated 10.2 million dollars.

Vini, Vidi, Vici. I came to the Blythe All-Star Cinema to watch the Batman: Dark Knight, saw the Dark Knight, but didn’t conquer it – rather, the Dark Knight conquered me. For that matter the whole audience was in a state of “shock and awe” once the ending credits started rolling. There was no applause, standing ovations or other public display of approval. One does not applaud The Lord’s Prayer or Lincoln’s actual Gettysburg Address. That cheapens things.

Rather, the audience and I simply stumbled out into the afternoon sunshine like gaggle of zombies, trying to recapture the magic and wonder and detail of everything that passed before our collective eyes for the past two and a half hours. After a brief reverie, I looked at my son who accompanied me and said, “We gotta do that again!”. The only other movie I can compare this experience to was in 1977 when I waited four hours in the front of the line at the movie theater in Alexandria, Minn. to be the first to see “Star Wars”. When I left, it was like a paradigm shift. My world view had changed. Movies were starting to see science fiction and comics from the way they should be portrayed – from the point of view of my imagination. About time.

Since when does a movie’s opening become news? Well, since the darn thing took in a record $64,000,000 in it’s first 24 hours and lives up to the “hype” that Heath Ledger deserves a posthumous Oscar, best Movie in decades, best based on a comic ever, and a masterpiece of cinematography. It’s all true and even more so. It simply leaves you longing for more. The entire country as is on its feet and in line to see this show and the people of the City of Blythe are no different. It has been a packed house every showing.

Larry Bynon, Manager, informed me that everyone that has exited the movie in the last day left with saying that they will, indeed be seeing it again. If so, this show has got “legs,” as they say in the industry. It’s the kind of blockbuster that keeps people coming back again and again – extending its release for weeks or even months.

It’s all about the Joker.

Heath Ledger’s version of the Joker is what makes this movie so alluring. He comes on with no origin story, an obvious paranoid schizophrenic with a bent for anarchy. He burns a pile of money to show that he is not committing his crime spree for a crass profit motive. He is the antithesis of the other psychotic in the picture – Batman. Joker cannot kill the Batman late in the show because, as the Joker states, “You complete me…”

Ledger’s version of the Joker (aka Jack Napier) is the spookiest yet. Jack Nicholson vamped his way through the character in the Micheal Keaton “Batman” and made a memorable scoundrel of himself. Cesar Romero portrayed him as a maniacal clown in the television show. The closest anyone has come to portraying Joker as well as Ledger was in brief film directed by Sandy Colorra with Andrew Koenig for the San Diego Comic-Con five years ago. For those who have YouTube capability, please watch this link for an 8 minute film that portrays the second-best Joker.

The character of the Joker was, in truth, invented by one of the great literary giants of the 19th century. Victor Hugo, of Les Miserables fame, wrote a book entitled The Man Who laughs in 1869. It was about a child who was orphaned and his face was mutilated into a frozen sardonic smile with the aid of a hunting knife. The book was later made into a silent movie starring Conrad Viedt. Watch the this clip from the 1922 film and note the similarities:

Remember that Bob Kane, the creating artist, wrote his first Batman story for Detective Comics #27 in May of 1939 – 17 years after this movie came out. Kane also had other models for Batman as well. Zorro was a big influence in creating modern-day caped/masked crusader and the Shadow was plagiarized for his ability to invoke fear in them minds of all criminals.

This writer cannot begin to go into detail about how Ledger places everything on the line for this role and acted his heart out without spoiling the movie for anyone who hasn’t seen it. But just for the heck of it – if you haven’t seen it as of this writing – watch for how he can make a pencil “disappear”, blow up a hospital wincing down the street in a nurses uniform, play “chicken” with an oncoming bat-cycle, and inveigle two boatloads of passengers into blowing up each other. One cannot describe it in words. It has to be seen.

Therefore: Don’t wait to see it on DVD! You lose far too much in scope and depth of the cinematography. I didn’t even mention the “White Knight” – Harvey Dent aka “Two-Face.” Superlative job as well. However, this is not a “Batman” movie akin to all the others. This is a crime story in which Batman has a role. Once you have seen it, come back to this article; watch this clip from the very first “Batman” movie and think of how far this character has come.

50 Cent has sued Taco Bell, claiming the fast-food restaurant chain is using his name without permission in advertising that asks him to call himself 99 Cent. The rapper says in a federal lawsuit filed Wednesday that the Mexican-themed chain features him in a print ad asking him to change his name to 79 Cent, 89 Cent or 99 Cent. His real name is Curtis Jackson.

The rapper's court papers say the ad is part of Taco Bell's "Why Pay More?" campaign, which promotes items for under a dollar, including Cinnamon Twists for 79 cents, Crunchy Tacos for 89 cents and Bean Burritos for 99 cents. The papers say the Irvine, Calif.-based company sent a bogus letter requesting the name change to the news media but not to the rapper.

The rapper's lawyer, Peter D. Raymond, said his client didn't learn about the letter or that he was featured in the ad campaign until he saw a news report about it. Raymond said his client is seeking 4 million dollars in damages.

Taco Bell Corp. spokesman Rob Poetsch issued a statement saying: "We made a good faith, charitable offer to 50 Cent to change his name to either 79, 89 or 99 Cent for one day by rapping his order at a Taco Bell, and we would have been very pleased to make the 10,000-dollar donation to the charity of his choice."

This isn't the first time 50 Cent has sued over his name or image.

In July 2007, he filed a 1-million-dollar lawsuit accusing an Internet ad company of using his image without permission in a game called "Shoot the Rapper," in which the player pretends to shoot him.

The game shows 50 Cent walking in an ad across the top of a webpage while the viewer is encouraged to shoot him by aiming and clicking with the mouse, the rapper's court papers said; a successful shot results in a misty cloud of red, and then the viewer is directed to another Web page, where the ad firm's clients sell goods and services.

The rapper is a well-known victim of gun violence: He was shot outside his grandmother's Queens home in 2000 and rapped in one of his biggest hits, "In da Club," about being hit with a few shells.

The rapper has been nominated for 13 Grammys, including for the song "In da Club" and the album "Get Rich or Die Tryin'." In 2005, he starred with Terrence Howard in a semi-autobiographical movie based on that album. He also starred in the 2006 film "Home of the Brave" as a soldier returning home from Iraq.

It's been three weeks since his blue-eyed baby debuted in this world, but Thomas Beatie – better known around the world as the Pregnant Man – can already say this about his daughter's personality: "She's easygoing and mellow and intelligent."

On June 29 at 8:55 p.m., Beatie, 34, a former female beauty pageant contestant, made cultural history as perhaps the first legally transgender male to give birth, bringing into the world a 9 lbs., 5 oz. baby girl named Susan Juliette.

"She's so precious, I just can't stop staring at her," Thomas tells PEOPLE in his first interview since he and wife Nancy returned with their bundle from Bend, Oregon's St. Charles Medical Center. "Just holding her is the best feeling in the world."

Susan – named after Thomas's mother and conceived through artificial insemination with donor sperm – arrived after 40 hours of labor, with Nancy at Thomas's side acting as his coach.

"When Susan finally came out, it was like in slow motion," says Thomas. "I was full of wonder." Echoes Nancy: "There were tears of joy."

Both father and daughter came through the birth in perfect health. "I weigh two pounds less than I did before I got pregnant," adds Thomas. "And I don't have a single stretch mark!"

At home, the couple is adjusting to their new nightly schedule: Nancy breastfeeding (by induced lactation, a process using hormones and physical stimulation with a breast pump) and Thomas keeping company while watching TV.

PARIS — It sounds like a scene from "Fight Club." French police say camouflaged paparazzi who got on to the grounds of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's chateau in southern France fought with the Hollywood couple's guards.

Police spokeswoman Capt. Olivia Poupot said Friday the two photographers were wearing camouflage clothes. She said police officers took them and the two guards in for questioning after Thursday's bust-up at the Jolie-Pitt family's Miraval estate.

The police captain said both sides filed legal complaints accusing the other of battery and causing injury. She said she believed the injuries were bruises and scratches and "nothing nasty."

Nevertheless, the guards got doctors' notes giving them four days off work; the photographers did not, she said.

Jolie returned to the estate after the July 12 birth of her twins, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, in the Mediterranean city of Nice, about 60 miles away.

Poupot said she didn't know how long the paparazzi had been on the chateau grounds or further details about the "altercation with the guards."

"One can imagine that if you discover someone in your garden who is taking your photo then you're not necessarily going to politely show them the way out," she said.

Police took everyone downtown to the nearby village of Carces and took statements. A judge will rule on whether the legal complaints should be pursued further, she said.

Poupot said it was the first time the chateau has called on police to intervene since the Jolie-Pitts settled there earlier this year, ahead of the twins' birth.

The police captain said she had no information on the nationalities or the names of the photographers.

"I won't hide for you that this kind of thing is really not the type of problem that interests us," she said. "There are, in my opinion, far more important things than paparazzi taking photos of a glamor couple."

Young, single men are fed up with being typecast as immature, insensitive and sex-obsessed, with a survey finding that the majority believe in having a soul mate, aren't scared of commitment, and say real men can cry.

A poll of 70,000 men with an average age of 28 debunked many of the standard stereotypes to show that the modern man is driven by a sense of values, loyalty and family.

The survey, by men's lifestyle website AskMen.com, found that 77 percent of respondents look for girlfriends with "wife potential" while 75 percent believe they have a soul mate and 69 percent would never cheat on their partner.

"These survey results will be surprising to many women, most of whom have a completely different perspective of what the average man thinks and feels," James Bassil, editor-in-chief of AskMen.com, told Reuters.

"The idea that young guys only want to be single and jump from girlfriend to girlfriend is not true at all."

The online survey, conducted over a five-week period, found that six out of 10 men were fed up with inaccurate commercial descriptions of them.

Bassil said the images of men on television and in advertisements had not changed or been challenged for decades whereas the image of women in the media was always changing as their roles in the home and the workplace altered.

"In TV sitcoms and in adverts, young men are portrayed as immature, frat boys who are always trying to get around their wives or girlfriends finding out about their bad behavior. This is just not the case," he said.

The survey by AskMen.com, a unit of Fox Interactive Media, found that 56 percent of men believed that being a good father or husband made them "manly."

It also found that 75 percent admitted to crying over a woman while 57 percent of men cook at home and enjoy doing it.

"There really seems to be a revival of traditional values among men which goes against everything you see in the media," said Bassil.

A British court has ordered musician Pete Doherty to pay damages to a photographer, after he smashed her camera as she tried to snap him before he returned to a clinic for drug treatment.

Magistrates in Yeovil, southwest England, said the 29-year-old Babyshambles lead singer should pay Catherine Mead STG918.27 ($A1,900) for breaking her lens on August 22 last year.

Mead, a photographer with the South West News Service agency, had her equipment broken when Doherty became angry that she was following him and his family around the town of Crewkerne.

Doherty, a recovering drug addict who has made numerous court appearances in London on possession charges and served 29 days of a 14-week jail term for breaching his probation earlier this year, pleaded guilty to criminal damage.

He was arrested by police in London on December 3 last year and admitted damaging the camera, telling officers he had been trying to enjoy a day out with his family before going back into rehab, the court heard.

Passing sentence, magistrates accepted there was a "degree of provocation" in the incident.

Outside court, the star said: "Yeah, it was okay today, it should have been sorted out ages ago to be honest. It's been hanging over me for a long time."

Brideshead Revisited (2008)

It may sound odd to say so, but among the many things that drive our affection for British literary costume drama (the plummy accents! The drawing rooms! Those hunky yet so civilized men!), one is surely a nostalgia for repression. Viewed from the vantage of messy, vulgar, let-it-all-hang-out America, the prospect of a society in which everything is kept in its stuffy place exerts a special allure. When the 11-hour British TV adaptation of Evelyn Waugh's Brideshead Revisited aired on PBS in 1982, the very diffidence of the series was exquisite: Inch by inch, hour by hour, it dangled luxury and desire in front of its hero, Jeremy Irons' Charles Ryder, only to keep reminding him of their heavy spiritual price.

The new movie version of Brideshead Revisited stays relatively true to Waugh's plot, and Julian Jarrold has directed it lavishly, but the main difference is that the film's emotions keep sloshing around on the surface. Sebastian Flyte, the troubled, indulgent rich kid who still carries a teddy bear, and whose guilt about his homosexual leanings turns him into a drunk, is now a flamboyant, hair-tossing delinquent played by Ben Whishaw with a pout so petulant he makes Jonathan Rhys Meyers look like a smiley-face button. Charles, the middle-class, mildly reptilian painter played by Irons with such close-to-the-vest anguish, has become, in the person of Matthew Goode, a sprightly good fellow, charmingly at ease in his skin. Even Charles' atheism, so pivotal to the plot, now seems less a rigid stance on his part than a benign philosophical shrug. Charles falls for Julia (Hayley Atwell), Sebastian's sister, and that's a big problem, since Sebastian gets jealous easily, and he comes from a clan of passionate Catholics (even the lapsed ones).

The one performer who seems at home with the gravity of it all is Emma Thompson, who portrays the family matriarch, Lady Marchmain, as a woman so defined by faith that she's a beatific monster. The only life that matters to her is the afterlife, and Thompson, rolling her vowels like marbles, finds a radiance in that view, even as Lady Marchmain squashes her children's happiness in this life. Brideshead Revisited is opulent and watchable, yet except for Thompson's acting, it's missing something — a grander, more ambivalent vision of the England it depicts dying out. In the series, we looked at that palatial fortress of Brideshead manor and thought: Here, in one house, is a fading empire. In the movie, it's just sublime real estate.

Why are so many celebutantes/reality stars recording albums? Who the heck is telling them that's a good idea?

Now, now. I hear the manatees living off the coast of Florida cannot get enough of Scarlett Johansson's album. They line up along Cape Canaveral and thump their stumpy flippers and take turns mooing just like ScarJo does on "Fannin Street."

If you need to blame someone for this recent spate of craptastic singer-actress albums, blame the cheap-ass music industry. More on exactly how cheap-assness has resulted in a Hayden Panettiere album after the jump.

You see, children, way back in the day, even before Miley Cyrus was a mere babe clinging to her daddy's mullet, the music industry was different. It was wealthy. And it was patient. It invested years of time, and pots of cash, in developing and supporting an artist.

Cut to 2008, and the industry is in a financial mess. It wants insta-superstars, prepackaged plastic dolls who come with a built-in audience that need no marketing. Enter the actress-slash-singer.

"These people are more commodities, merchandise," music-industry marketing consultant Jaci Rae says. They've been on TV or in movies. People already know who they are. No bazillion-dollar ad campaign necessary.

Another factor in creating singing celebutantes: overseas markets.

"Paris Hilton's CD totally died in the U.S., but in Japan it sold out like crazy," Rae says. "It was insane. They were nuts over here. Her video was all over the place. The record company isn't just looking at the U.S. market. They're looking at everything."

You ask who, exactly, tells these ladies that albums are a good idea. Look no farther than the moguls who have invested in them. Look at Disney. Disney has a solid history with Hayden, having cast her in Ice Princess and Remember the Titans and some Disney Channel movie called Tiger Cruise.

Thanks to that string of movies, Disney audiences are now very familiar with Panettiere and want to see more of her. Disney would be stupid not to oblige with as much Hayden-related product as the world can possibly stand. So, coming soon, from Hollywood Records—a Disney company—is Hayden's album.

Rapper DMX indicted for dodging medical bills

Rap star DMX has been indicted in Arizona on charges that he used a false identity to try and avoid paying medical expenses incurred during a hospital visit, prosecutors said on Tuesday.

A spokesman for the Maricopa County Attorney's office said a grand jury has charged DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, with one count of theft and one count of taking someone else's identity.

Mike Scerbo said the felony indictment stemmed from a visit Simmons made to the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona, in April during which he gave his name as "Troy Jones," allegedly to avoid paying for treatment.

The indictment is the latest in a string of tangles with the law for the 37-year-old rapper, who was nabbed by police at a Phoenix shopping mall last Saturday on a warrant.

Earlier this month, Simmons was arrested at a Phoenix airport for failing to appear in court, failure to pay fines and driving without a license.

The rapper, who has a home outside the city, was arrested in Arizona in May on suspicion of drug possession and animal cruelty after searches of his home allegedly turned up weapons, drugs, dog carcasses and abused pit bulls.

While he is best know as a rapper, DMX has also acted in several movies including "Romeo Must Die" and "Exit Wounds."

Naruto, InuYasha, the Dark Knight Batman and other Guilty Pleasures

As I stumble across the world wide web, I constantly run into mentions of Manga, Anime and such. Apparently there are a number of Naruto fans out there.

I am partial to Japanese anime when they involve mysterious powers, battles between good and evil, and ambivalent character or two who might be a good guy and might not.

The Japanese seem to churn out this watchable stuff while all I see coming out here is crap like Ed, Ed and Eddy. And which one of you Chowder Heads, ordered Chowder, or Flap Jack. Mostly unwatchable crap. Even that imaginary friends show got old after awhile.

Compare that to say The Avatar or that Samuari Jack show.

How is it there is so much schlock here and so many Gems coming out of Japan. They seem to be willing to spend the money to attract and depict interesting myths and legends.

American cartoons and kids shows appear to be about stupidity. Appearing stupid, learning to be stupid, living with stupid people. Only occasionally do the makers of children’s fare here forget to be stupid and turn out something not half bad like that cute teenage witch show or Ben 10. Sponge Bob and the Fairy God parents aren’t that bad.

Come to think of it though, the genesis for these rambling musings, Naruto is a first class, grade A idiot. Nevertheless, the show is interesting. It depicts a alternate universe and peoples it with interesting characters.

I don’t know if characters or the world on Ed, Ed an Eddy are interesting because the drawing is just too annoying to watch. What dialogue I have heard on that show before managing to change the channel was imbecilic. There is a concept called the pathetic fallacy. If you want to show people a character in a story is bored, you don’t do it by making the audience fall asleep. The people who made Naruto know this. The makers of Ed,Ed and Eddy do not.

When they do make good American cartoons like the Dark Knight Batman, or Superman or anything backed by DC or Marvel comics, they are too short lived. and we must subsist on a meager ration of reruns.

'Batman' accused of assaulting mom

Batman star Christian Bale was to be questioned by police over allegations he assaulted his mother and sister the night before the European premiere of his film, "The Dark Knight," British media reported Tuesday.

His mother and sister reportedly complained that the 34-year-old actor assaulted them at a west London hotel on Sunday.

Britain's Press Association said they made the allegation at a police station in south England on Monday and that the allegation was passed on to Scotland Yard in London. It said questioning was expected Tuesday.

When asked Tuesday about the news reports, Scotland Yard said it was investigating an allegation referred to it by another police force but refused to say whether the incident involved Bale.

The Sun newspaper said police did not question Bale on Monday because they did not want to interfere with the premiere.

Bale's U.S.-based representatives did not immediately return messages seeking comment. Phone calls to Bale's London representative were not unanswered.

Joanna off to a flying start

Smooth and touching; two words that sum up the voice of Joanna Wong, a 19-year-old jazz singer/songwriter whose star is rising after the release of her debut album Start from Here. Some critics and fans have even excitedly announced they've found a Chinese equivalent of Norah Jones and Lisa Ono.

Music fans in Beijing could not ask for a more charming singer than the small, black-haired woman in blue jeans who relies not on a sweet face and hot curves but a captivating voice. On stage, she introduces her music, she taps her foot, plays her guitar and giggles at her own stage patter. Every now and then, she'd whisper: "I love this song!" Nevertheless, her mature voice belies her youth and innocence, and her songwriting skills augur well for the future.

The daughter of veteran Taiwan musician and composer Bing Wong, Joanna was born in Taiwan province but grew up in California, where she studied piano and jazz and idolized British and American legends like the Beatles and Billy Joel.

Gifted with unique jazz vocals, Wong cut her first full-length English album only last year. Featuring 12 tracks, Start From Here included three songs she wrote herself and renditions of classics like Spandau Ballet's True, Billy Joel's New York State of Mind and I Love You, plus David Tao's popular ballad Love is Simple.

The album is reminiscent of Norah Jones in its warm, earthy tones: Wong's vocals is complemented on many tracks by the Wurlitzer organ, electric and acoustic piano, and understated guitars. The production is slick but not heavy-handed and Wong's quiet singing is never overpowered by the lush arrangements.

Most of the songs are unabashedly romantic but Wong's delivery is thoroughly convincing on every track. Vincent DeGiorgio's songwriting lets her take some risks, particularly with Now. And Wong's own songs hold their own: Lost Taipei is pleasantly quirky for its lyrics and whimsical rhythm changes, and Stages of Flying treats the act of saying goodbye in a playful, satisfying way.

Wong sings mostly in English but the album has an EP-length CD with Chinese versions of five songs, which are as strong as their original counterparts. All in all, the album's success proves that talented artists in Taiwan don't necessarily need to follow the Mando-pop formula.

The title song, Start From Here, speaks about love but also how the young artist feels about her introduction into the music industry. "Hopefully it will just give me more room for a future album," she says. "Like you've established some working relationship with your label before and now you are given more freedom to make more ideal music."

The bilingual album, released by Sony BMG in January, has so far sold 200,000 copies throughout Asia.

Naruto’s training and the battle between Sasuke against the 8-tailed beast begins. I doubt how long does it takes for Naruto to finish the training. Will he be able to finish it before Paine’s attack on Konoha? For this question, I don’t think so. I have a feeling Naruto will not make it in time, but that doesn’t mean it’s the end of Konoha. The worst possible it could be is death of some main character/s from Konoha. But this is still far away from current plot. So, now about the battle of Sasuke. How strong is this 8-tailed beast? I believe he is strong enough and is worthy opponent to Sasuke but definitely not Sasuke’s league. I am quite sure of this unless Kishi purposely drags the story to make it likes Sasuke having a big trouble in controlling the 8-tailed beast. Then, out of anger, Sasuke shows his real power and finish him off. That if Kishi plans to make the battle an interesting part of the story. For some reason, Naruto’s training is going to be slow but we will be able to see a lot of new things throughout the training.

10 Ways We Hurt Our Romantic Relationships

It’s not easy to have a great relationship with your boy/girlfriend, partner, or spouse. But it’s not impossible, either — it takes some work, of course, but it’s work, work that’s a joy when everything comes together.

A lot of times, though, the work isn’t enough. We get in our own way with ideas and attitudes about relationships that are not only wrong, but often work to undermine our relationships no matter how hard we work at it.

I’ve watched a lot of breakups (some of them my own). I’ve seen dramatic flare-ups and drawn-out slow fades, and I’ve tried to pay attention to what seems to be going on. Here are a few of the things I’ve seen that cause people to destroy their own relationships.

1. You’re playing to win

One of the deadliest killers of relationships is the competitive urge. I don’t mean competition in the sense that you can’t stand to lose at tennis, I mean the attitude that the relationship itself is a kind of game that you’re tying to win. People in competitive relationships are always looking for an advantage, the upper hand, some edge they can hold over their partner’s head. If you feel that there are things you can’t tell your partner because she or he will use it against you, you’re in a competitive relationship — but not for long.

2. You don’t trust

There are two aspects of trust that are important in relationships. One is trusting your partner enough to know that s/he won’t cheat on you or otherwise hurt you — and to know that he or she trusts you that way, too. The other is trusting them enough to know they won’t leave you or stop loving you no matter what you do or say. The second that level of trust is gone, whether because one of you takes advantage of that trust and does something horrible or because one of you thinks the other has, the relationship is over — even if it takes 10 more years for you to break up.

3. You don’t talk

Too many people hold their tongues about things that bother or upset them in their relationship, either because they don’t want to hurt their partner, or because they’re trying to win. (See #1 above; example: “If you don’t know why I’m mad, I’m certainly not going to tell you!”) While this might make things easier in the short term, in the long run it gradually erodes the foundation of the relationship away. Little issues grow into bigger and bigger problems — problems that don’t get fixed because your partner is blissfully unaware, or worse, is totally aware of them but thinks they don’t really bother you. Ultimately, keeping quiet reflects a lack of trust — and, as I said that’s the death of a relationship.

4. You don’t listen

Listening — really listening — is hard. It’s normal to want to defend ourselves when we hear something that seems like criticism, so instead of really hearing someone out, we interrupt to explain or excuse ourselves, or we turn inward to prepare our defense. But your partner deserves your active listening. S/he even deserves you to hear the between-the-lines content of daily chit-chat, to suss out his/her dreams and desires when even s/he doesn’t even know exactly what they are. If you can’t listen that way, at least to the person you love, there’s a problem.

5. You spend like a single person

This was a hard lesson for me to learn — until it broke up a 7-year relationship. When you’re single, you can buy whatever you want, whenever you want, with little regard for the future. It’s not necessarily wise, but you’re the only one who has to pay the consequences. When you are with someone in a long-term relationship, that is no longer a possibility. Your partner — and your children, if there are or will be any — will have to bear the brunt of your spending, so you’d better get in the habit of taking care of household necessities first and then, if there’s anything left over, of discussing with your partner the best way to use it.

This is an increasing problem these days, because more and more people are opting to keep their finances separate, even when they’re married. There’s nothing wrong with that kind of arrangement in and of itself, but it demands more communication and involvement between the partners, not less. If you’re spending money as if it was your money and nobody else has a right to tell you what to do with it, your relationship is doomed.

6. You’re afraid of breaking up

Nobody in a truly happy partnership is afraid of breaking up. If you are, that’s a big warning sign that something’s wrong. But often, what’s wrong is the fear itself. Not only does it betray a lack of trust, but it shows a lack of self-confidence and self-esteem — you’re afraid that there’s no good reason for someone to want to be with you, and that sooner or later your partner will “wise up” and take off. So you pour more energy into keeping up the appearance of a happy relationships than you do into building yourself up as a person. Quite frankly, this isn’t going to be very satisfying for you, and it also isn’t going to be very satisfying for your partner.

7. You’re dependent

There’s a thin line between companionship and support and dependency. If you depend on your partner — that is, if you absolutely cannot live without her or him — you’ve crossed that line. The pressure is now on your partner to fill whatever’s missing in you — a pressure s/he will learn to resent. If you expect your partner to bring everything while you bring nothing to your relationship — and I’m talking finances as well as emotional support, here — you’re in trouble. (Note: I’m not saying that you need to contribute equally to household finances — what I’m saying is that if you’re not contributing to the household budget, and you’re not contributing anywhere else, things are out of whack and that’s never good.)

8. You expect Happiness

A sign of a bad relationship is that one or both partners expect either to make the other happy or for their partner to make them happy. This is not only an unrealistic expectation to lay on yourself or on them — nobody can “make” you happy, except you — but it’s an unrealistic expectation to lay on your relationship. Relationships aren’t only about being happy, and there’s lots of times when you won’t and even shouldn’t be. Being able to rely on someone even when you’re upset, miserable, depressed, or grieving is a lot more important than being happy all the time. If you expect your partner to make you happy — or worse, you’re frustrated because you aren’t able to make your partner happy — your relationship isn’t going to fare well when it hits a rough spot.

9. You never fight

A good argument is essential, every now and then. In part, arguing helps bring out the little stuff before it becomes major, but also, fighting expresses anger which is a perfectly normal part of a human’s emotional make-up. Your relationship has to be strong enough to hold all of who you are, not just the sunny stuff.

One reason couples don’t fight is that they fear conflict — which reflects a lack of trust and a foundation of fear. That’s bad. Another reason couples avoid arguments is that they’ve learned that anger is unreasonable and unproductive. They’ve learned that arguing represents a breakdown rather than a natural part of a relationship’s development. While an argument isn’t pleasant, it can help both partners to articulate issues they may not have even known they had — and help keep them from simmering until you cross a line you can’t come back from.

10. You expect it to be easy/you expect it to be hard

There are two deeply problematic attitudes about relationships I hear often. One is that a relationship should be easy, that if you really love each other and are meant to be together, it will work itself out. The other is that anything worth having is going to be hard — and that therefore if it’s hard, it must be worth having.

The outcome of both views is that you don’t work at your relationship. You don’t work because it’s supposed to be easy and therefore not need any work, or you don’t work because it’s supposed to be hard and it wouldn’t be hard if you worked at it. In both cases, you quickly get burnt out — either because the problems you’re ignoring really don’t go away just because you think they should. or because the problems you’re cultivating are a constant drag on your energy. A relationship that’s too much work might be suffering from one of the attitudes above, but a relationship that doesn’t seem to need any work isn’t any better.

Your choices

There isn’t any one answer to any of the problems above. There are choices though: you can either seek out an answer, something that addresses why you are hurting your relationship, or you can resign yourself to the failure of your relationship (and maybe the next one, and the next one, and…). Failure doesn’t always mean you break up — many people aren’t that lucky. But people can live quite unhappily in failed relationships for years and even decades because they’re afraid they won’t find anything better, or worse, they’re afraid they deserve it. Don’t you be one of them — if you suffer from any of these problems, figure out how to fix it, whether that means therapy, a solo mountain retreat, or just talking to your partner and committing yourselves to change.

Tony Leung and Carina Lau released one of their wedding photos to quench fans' curiosity on Sunday, one day before the Hong Kong couple's much-discussed wedding in Bhutan.

The photo shows the star couple wearing red gowns standing in front of a lush backdrop. Leung and Lau began shooting their wedding photos shortly after their arrival in Bhutan last week, the Hong Kong-based Wen Wei Po reported. Places featured in their wedding album include Bhutan's royal palace.

A lavish wedding is scheduled Monday at the luxurious Uma Paro hotel. Because Lau said she wanted a peaceful wedding, the hotel is being heavily guarded to keep the paparazzi at bay.

Leung's management company said that on Friday, hotel security removed at least eight journalists who had entered the premises of the Uma Paro, the International Herald Tribune reported.

Meanwhile, most of the 80 or so guests have arrived in Bhutan. Celebrity guests include filmmaker Stanley Kwan, actress Brigitte Lin, and former pop diva Faye Wong and her actor husband, Li Yapeng. Award-winning film director Wong Kar-Wai is in charge of planning the wedding.

And a movie that is definitely worth your money.

Bruce Wayne/Batman (Christian Bale, The Prestige) is still running around, saving Gotham City. But there is “a new class of criminal,” the Joker (Heath Ledger, Brokeback Mountain). The Joker has been successfully swaying men to his organization and then disposing of them so he can take all the money. He controls several banks in Gotham City. Meanwhile, new Gotham District Attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart, Thank You for Smoking) has promised to rid the city of all criminals with assistant DA Rachel Dawes (Maggie Gyllenhaal, World Trade Center, who replaces Katie Holmes) at his side as co-worker and girlfriend. When the Joker begins attacking those close to Batman and heads of Gotham government, the Dark Knight realizes that he must turn himself in before those close to him, including Rachel, die.

Where can I begin? I’ll start with Aaron Eckhart. I have never seen him in a movie before, and I was impressed. As Harvey Dent, Eckhart has an interesting character, one who is portrayed as a hero and villain at the same time. He does it perfectly, and we don’t know whose side he is on until the end. Second is Alfred (Michael Caine, The Prestige). I enjoyed Caine in Batman Begins as well as The Prestige. And he does not disappoint here, again the push behind the hero who often provides humor. Third is Lieutenant Jim Gordon (Gary Oldman, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix), who is also that supporting guy inside the authority that every superhero needs to sway attention from. But now that I think about it, does Spiderman have one? No. This is what makes Oldman’s part so great; it’s a rarely used character idea and Oldman pulls it off greatly. For the mediocre…

Wait. You didn’t think I was going to talk about this movie without bringing up Heath Ledger, did you? His performance as a character I barely know is one of the best acting performances I’ve ever seen (FYI: Soon I will be blogging about my Top 6 acting performances ever). His performance seemed so real, and I truly felt “menaced” by the performance. Nolan does a great job of directing so that we get right in the Joker’s face, catching his facial expressions and movements. I would be a proponent of an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. From movies I’ve seen so far this year, only Eckhart and Shia LaBouef for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull could compete in my book in that category. And they still might lose.

Other than those four, the script and cinematography are both outstanding. The only problems I saw were average performances from Gyllenhall, Bale, and Morgan Freeman (as Lucius Fox).

But when we think about it, this movie is all about the Joker. And although I enjoyed seeing Nestor Carbonell (the mayor of Gotham) taking a break from his role as the ageless Richard Alpert on LOST, Ledger really stole the show, no pun intended.
